ResDiary Integration

Reservation Management.

• Create table reservations as part of the new booking workflow, including for multiple nights, and for different guests in a multi-room booking.
• Add a new table reservation to an existing Caterbook booking.
• Link an existing ResDiary reservation to a Caterbook booking.
• Automatically cancel a ResDiary reservation if the associated Caterbook booking is cancelled, reducing orphaned table reservations that would otherwise lead to no-shows (an optional feature).
• Full 2-way integration, so if you edit or cancel a table reservation in one system, it automatically updates it in the other.
• ResDiary features, like table leave times and promotions, are supported and surfaced in Caterbook.

User Interface Enhancements.

• The dashboard arrivals panel and booking record screens highlight whether a Caterbook booking made for a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rate has no associated table reservations.
• Any Caterbook booking with a linked ResDiary reservation is also highlighted on those screens, and additionally on the 7-day calendar view, irrespective of the rate plan.

The absence of a ResDiary reservation at check in now provides a prompt for all staff to try and upsell guests to dine in-house, rather than have them spend money elsewhere.

Guest communications.

• New email template tags enable properties to show table reservation times in booking confirmation or pre-arrival emails, giving guests a more complete overview of their stay.
