You can now use CaterBook to send news e-mails to all of your clients very simply indeed Click SYSTEM and then CLIENT LIST and highlight the column ‘E-mail’ by clicking the Email heading. The column will light up and you can then click EXPORT. CaterBook will create the Export.txt file in the normal way so click OK, you will then be offered the option- ‘Do you wish to open the bulk email option now?’ If you answer YES, CaterBook will open the e-mail screen and anything you enter into the subject, email and attachment will be e-mailed to all the people with e-mail addresses in your database.

Credit Card Data Important Change______________________

It is of course very important to protect privacy and stored data.

Data relating to clients can often include secure information such as credit card numbers. CaterBook will now delete all the information stored in the credit card number, validity and code fields automatically after 30 days in order to protect both yourself and the client. If you have credit card data stored in other areas of CaterBook, please be aware that this should be deleted manually.

New Who-Did-What Function______________________

Following a suggestion from a CaterBook customer, a new function has been added to make reviewing the history of a booking easier. Whilst a booking is displayed on the screen, Press Shift + F2 and CaterBook will open a prompt asking for a keyword. Enter ‘WHO’ into the prompt and a ‘Who did what’ report will be displayed for the chosen booking.
